What we’ve been building: Swornmark

We spent this summer building something slightly out of character for a design studio: a compliance tool. On 2 August the EU’s AI disclosure rules went live, and every client conversation started to include some version of the same nervous question, do we need to label all this AI content? The honest answer was usually “some of it, and you won’t enjoy finding out which”.

So we built Swornmark. It scans a website against the actual text of Article 50, drafts the disclosures that are missing, gets a named person to sign off what a human review can lift, and issues a certificate anyone can verify. The scan takes about a minute and costs nothing. The guides on the site explain the rules in plain language, including the part most coverage gets wrong: reviewed text needs no label at all, while images get no such lift.

It runs as its own thing at swornmark.com. If you run websites, yours or your clients’, and you’d rather compare horror stories than buy anything, you know where we are.

We work on a handful of property briefs a year, and a smaller handful of AI adoption projects with property teams who want their people sharper, not replaced. A refinance narrative coming up. A hoarding going live Friday. An asset where the marketing isn’t doing what the numbers need. A leasing team that’s still doing valuations in Excel and wants to stop. That’s the kind of conversation we like.
